Social Media rules for students

Social media is a popular form of communication in today’s world. There are many different platforms for people to use, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It can be helpful for students to utilize social media while studying if they know the guidelines and implications of it.

You may be in school studying, but don’t let your social media accounts get left behind. To help you maintain balance in your life while using social media responsibly, here are some guidelines:

  1. Keep your personal and professional lives separate. This is one of the most important rules as it can lead to some serious consequences if you violate this rule too much.
  2. Avoid posting anything that could constitute an invasion of privacy or defamation of character when talking about anyone else.
  3. Don’t ever share any identifying information on social media – never reveal where you live, what kind of car you drive, or who your friends are unless it is a close friend or family member with permission from them.
